The OnePlus Watch was also officially announced at the same time as the OnePlus 9 series. It is the first smartwatch from a Chinese manufacturer. The slim watch is characterized by a round watch case with a dial made of 2.5D curved glass. For the time being, only a 46mm model has been announced, which is made of stainless steel. Naturally, the OnePlus Watch offers all kinds of functions and possibilities to keep track of your activities and health in real-time.

More than 110 workout types are available, with automatic workout detection for jogging and running. In addition, the user gains insight into his heart rate, oxygen saturation, calorie consumption, the distance traveled, and the speed via the smartwatch. If your heart rate is too high for the activities you do, you will automatically receive a warning signal.
Thanks to the built-in GPS, you can accurately track all your activities, even when you don’t have your phone with you. You can also follow breathing training sessions via the OnePlus Health app.
OnePlus Watch: Water-resistant watch with a long battery life
Thanks to the 5ATM + IP68 certification, the OnePlus smartwatch is also dust and water-resistant. 4GB of memory is built-in, enough for 500 songs. The smartwatch is also compatible with most Bluetooth earbuds.
The 402 mAh battery lasts up to 2 weeks, according to the manufacturer. Active users can count on a battery life of around 1 week. If you have to put the smartwatch on the charger, an empty battery is completely filled again within 53 minutes.

OnePlus cheap waterproof smartwatch: Colors
The smartwatch comes in two colors: Midnight Black and Moonlight Silver. The OnePlus Watch has a reasonable suggested retail price of € 160. The first smartwatch from OnePlus will go on sale in the Netherlands on April 26.
A special Cobalt version will eventually also be released, however, no price has been announced for this model. The OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition goes a step further than the Classic Edition in terms of design. The watch case is made of cobalt alloy, a unique hypoallergenic material that is twice as hard and more rust-resistant than traditional stainless steel. In addition, the dial is made of specially treated sapphire glass, for greater clarity and scratch resistance.
OnePlus is certainly not the only Chinese manufacturer to enter the world of wearables. The Oppo Watch and Vivo Watch were already introduced last year, both by sister companies of OnePlus. Competitor Xiaomi also launched its first smartwatch on the market last year, in the form of the Mi Watch. The Chinese are fighting against the established order, such as the Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch series.
